Positively Optimistic Day #30- Beauty and the Nature

Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.

-Albert Einstein

Can you believe it everyone? We have made it to day 30. So that counts as a month right? Haha. I just wanted to start off by saying how much I’ve already seen change in my life in just this short amount of time and I can’t wait to see what other changes are going to come my way through this journey!

Over this last month I have been looking at the beautiful things instead of the ugly ones. Which is what I want to talk about to you all today. I spent my Valentines Day yesterday hiking. It was amazing to be out alone in nature. Many times we go through life without releasing how beautiful the world around us is.

If you can I suggest just going on a hike by yourself and just really take in the views. You not only get great exercise in, but you also become more aware that life is full of other things besides our phones, or technology. It’s nice to just put those things up for a while and just stay in the here and now. That in itself is beautiful, because no one really does that anymore. We are all too wrapped up in our problems to just take a little time out of our day to look around us.

I realized yesterday life is way too short not to take in all those beautiful views. It is an absolute gift to be able to see with both of our eyes yet we all take that for granted. My sister for example is legally blind. She cannot hardly see unless she holds things almost clear up to her eyeball and one day it could be possible that she loses all her vision.

So if you are feeling like your life is so bad just take in account all the blessings you do have that you take for granted. Whether it be you have eyes to see out of, ears to hear, a parent that loves you, being able to drive, having both of your legs, your arms. I could keep going, but you get the idea. We have such wonderful things that surround us yet sometimes even when we’re not blind, we are still too blind to see.

Today I want to dare all of you to go outside and really look around. I mean REALLY look around! Try to find something you haven’t seen before. Notice the sounds of nature around you and just take it all in. I promise you will not regret it.

Talk to you all tomorrow,

Amber ❤️❤️❤️
