“Would do well to slow down a little focus on the significant & truly see the things that matter most.”- Dieter F. Uchrdorf
Being out on my own I’ve discovered many things that matter. One of the main things I’ve realized is that family and friends matter so much! You truly don’t know how much they matter until they’re not there. If you’re moved away from them or that they moved on to a better place.
In a way I feel like I communicate more with all of them because I’m far away. I appreciate the phone calls and texts so much more than when it was just convenient. The phrase “you don’t know what you got until it’s gone” is very accurate.
Having people in your life that you love is something in life that truly matters. So many times we get caught up in the little things in life that don’t really matter. We get caught up in our little problems that we don’t stop and smell the roses.
Life isn’t rainbow and butterflies, but it’s learning to appreciate the things that matter through all of life’s whirlwinds. I want to dare you all reading this to appreciate all the things in your life that do matter like the people. Give them hugs and remind them all that you love them!
Write to you all tomorrow,
